The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe by J. Randy Taraborrelli

The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe by J. Randy Taraborrelli
I discovered this book on discount on my Kindle and loved it.  It is written as a compilation of interviews and research and put together as a factual representation of Marilyn Monroe's life.  I enjoyed the book because it let you decide what happened in certain situations.  It has viewpoints from several people in her life at the time and included comparisons from Marilyn's autobiography--which they made a case for that it may not have been entirely factual because of her mental problems she inherited from her mother.  Heartbreaking because you know it won't end well, but great insight on the world Marilyn was living in.  Well written, and easy to read for a long book. Check out the movie, My Week with Marilyn after you read it. 5/5
