Roald Dahl's Adult Short Story Collections

Roald Dahl is known best for his bestselling children's books such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches and Matilda.  While most see him as a children's author, he actually began his writing career writing short stories in magazines like The New Yorker after his time he spent serving in WWII.  Many collections of his short stories have been published, which are written for adults, and I am working my way through these books.  His stories always have a twist, and are usually "twisted" at the same time.

I love reading these as a background as to how he became such a great writer for children.  Always entertaining, always slightly off. 5/5

Here is the complete collection with links taken from RoaldDahlFans.com
